Gearing up

It’s funny, I’ve been doing this photography thing for over a decade, and been shooting professionally for almost five years (wow, has it been that long?!), so you’d think there wouldn’t be too many things that would really get me excited.  But it never fails, we plan a group photo shoot and I turn back into a 10-year-old on Christmas Eve.  We have been planning this phenomenal bridal shoot for a couple months now, and tomorrow is the big day.  Why would I be so excited over a simple photo shoot?  Well, first of all we are shooting at an amazing location, the Mountain Mermaid Estate in Los Angeles.  Home to countless fashion shoots for Glamour, Vogue, Playboy, Calvin Klein, and celebrities like Selma Hayek and Mila Jojovich, it’s a unique place that is going to hold so many possibilities for great images.  Second, we’ve got a tremendous group of professional models, makeup and hair stylists.  Third, generous donations of bouquets, couture wedding gowns and hand-made accessories will make each bride look incredible.  Finally, a small but talented group of photographers, a select few that will come away with jaw-dropping photos.

It will be a day-long shoot, so I’m sure Sunday I’ll be working furiously to get images up online!  Check back here over the weekend to see what we came up with!!
